
THE ROUX CRUE
The Roux Crue is an alternative rock duo born in 2020, made up of Sarah Moccia(vocals/effects and loop station) and Gregorio Montanino (guitar/effects and loop station).
With influences ranging from classic rock to alternative pop, their style blends elegance and aggressiveness, bringing a unique emotional energy to the stage. Their latest album is titled “Stories from Forgotten Places”, a collection of tracks exploring themes such as love, loss, and desire, giving voice to intimate stories of forgotten people and places.
Each track is a journey, enriched by deep and intense sounds that move between delicate ballads and energetic pieces.
With artistic production by Fabrizio Fedele – CELLAR STUDIO (collaborations with PHIL PALMER, DAVID JACKSON (Van Der Graaf Generator), DAVID CROSS (King Crimson), T.M. STEVENS (Steve Vai), GIANNI LEONE (Balletto di Bronzo), RITCHIE KOTZEN (Mr. Big)).
“Stories from Forgotten Places” is a work that celebrates authenticity and emotional depth, ready to leave a mark on the alternative rock scene.
In October 2024 The Roux Crue won the second edition of the “Over The Edge festival” held at Palazzo Mastrilli.
On December 13, 2024 they took part in “Napoletani Nel Mondo Festival”.
After the first leg of the promotional tour that touched the main Italian cities, their European tour began in Malta between November and December 2024, and then continued with other European dates between January and March 2025 in England (they performed in several dates at “The Dublin Castle” and “The Good Mixer” in Camden, and in other small clubs throughout the United Kingdom).
In May 2025 Roux Crue performed at the Gran Teatro Geox in Padua during the aftershow of the Marillion Weekend, for two nights.
On June 21, 2025 they won the second edition of “Radici Music Festival” and "Premio della Critica" with the song "Meta (like a river)".
On July 23, 2025, they participated in the Civitanova Solidarity Sound and came in second place with the song "Meta (like a river)".
